‘Wake Up’ is an upbeat, colourful song with Pop and RnB influences. It starts off strong with some layered harmonies and dreamy electric guitar, then takes the listener on a journey through the verses, bridge and chorus, into a four to the floor rap breakdown with a strong bass and heavy kick. ‘Wake Up’ is definitely worthy of ‘song of the summer’ status!
